VR team building or a classic activity? The honest comparison
VR isn't always the right choice — which is exactly why we can talk about it openly. Here's how it compares with classic formats.
Versus a restaurant or apéritif
A meal brings people together but sparks little interaction: you mostly talk to your table neighbours. VR puts everyone in action and creates shared memories. Conversely, if the goal is simply to unwind, a good meal is enough.
Versus an escape room or sport
These formats are excellent for cooperation, but depend on the venue and on everyone's fitness. VR comes to you, adapts to every age from 10 up and excludes no one — an asset when profiles are very mixed.
Versus the creative workshop
A workshop (cooking, tasting…) leaves a skill; VR leaves an emotion and the wow effect. The two complement each other: some companies pair a workshop in the afternoon with VR in the evening.
When VR really wins
A large group with mixed profiles, a wish for a spectacular highlight, the need to come on site, a mix of staff and clients: that's where VR makes the difference. The rest of the time, we'll tell you honestly.
