Free-roam or seated VR: which experience for your event?
Not every VR experience suits every context. A short guide to choosing between free-roam and an on-the-spot format.
Free-roam: maximum immersion
A wireless headset, and you genuinely move through the scenery. It's the most spectacular option — cooperation, adrenaline, the sense of being "inside". It needs more space (at least 60 m²) and shines at team buildings and on event stands.
On-the-spot experiences
You play standing or seated in a compact zone (12 to 16 m²). Collaborative escape, space mini-golf, competitive arena: ideal when space is limited or for a quick rotation of many players.
How to choose
Plenty of space and after a high point? Free-roam. Tight space or a high number of participants? An on-the-spot format with rotations. Often, we combine the two at the same event.
